Hackers and Scammers continue to steal millions of dollars worth of NFTs. Even collectors of prominent NFTs such as CryptoPunks and Bored Ape Yacht Club have been victims of NFT scams through social engineering tactics such as screen sharing, fake customer support, and phishing links. DO NOT SHARE SCREEN and even worse DO NOT EVER GIVE REMOTE ACCESS when dealing with crypto or crypto related products/services. Be very careful as well where you enter your seed phrase.

  1. It’s like the early days of the main stream shopping internet all over again. I remember eBay was like the Wild West at one point.

  2. Navigating from different Discord server where there are a lot of NFT communities, I found some community asking your seed phrase in order to access the community. DO NOT enter…

  3. Here is a tip. if you dont want your NFTs stolen, dont upload it for people to screenshot. once you upload it, anyone with a screenshot tool or a right mouse click button can make copies of their own. But the entirety of NFTs is at best a currency doomed to collapsed. and at worse, a scam on multiple fields.

there is nothing to gain out of nfts.

  4. Thanks for your video! Can you make the next one about close mints? I know that Tiger Academy NFT (RTA) is going to mint in a week, so I wonder if it’s that huge how people say

  5. Oh God please come to my aid! Its pathetic that what people aim at to rip people off their crypto. I need help cos i just lost big time and i don't know were to start from. Its my entire life savings i put in there.

  6. I think it’s time to rename your channel NFT express. We don’t see video about classic crypto anymore from you

  7. They're not hackers and scammers, they are heroes.
NFTs are bs and do not serve the artists themselves,
and most of the art of 'projects' is just repeated art much like a character generator might be, randomizing clothing options and presented as unique and separate art pieces.

  8. A Mutant Ape holder tried to get me with the same trade scam another guy had attempted hours prior and I hadn't paid it much mind until later that day since I was at work. When I got home I saw he had changed his name to James | OpenSea with a little checkmark. Lol.

  9. Oh here you go have my car keys, want my house keys too?…Go right ahead, help yourself.

Why the hell people alter their approach to online security and turn into morons is beyond me. I can't imagine why you would ever let anyone have access to your computer via screen sharing and not close / hide things that aren't necessary or monitor what someone is doing. Providing control to them is a whole other big no no. Its a shame this kind of information has to be created by everyone (and yes it is needed unfortunately as there's an abundance of mushy brained idiots out there). And no offence to anyone but we get plenty of warnings about not sharing your seed words when they're generated. Morons will always lose their money. It's different if a security flaw is exploited in the software you use, that's just often out of your control but to literally gift a scammer with your information is like shooting fish in a barrel to that lot.

Your money, YOUR responsibility. There's no whining to the banks like when you've bought from a dodgy site that you couldnt be bothered to look into. I know I seem harsh but there's very obviously a distinct lack of responsible thinking and desperation from people to get into something that's too good to be true.

If you're on Metamask don't just connect to any and everything and disconnect after you're done with something. If you're in a discord NFT project server turn of direct messaging. ITS NOT HARD.

  10. I think that you should have included some important information. If you screen share for example, if your wallet is locked then you should be OK – right? Many people screen share all the time, for example, teachers, screen share all day long. I am just trying to confirm that if your wallet is locked then screen sharing is safe – is it?
