Cryptocurrency is forever changing and evolving, and that is the same for different sectors within crypto, for example, crypto mining. Ethereum has been contemplating moving to ProgPoW a new mining algorithm designed to even the playing field between ASIC miners and GPU miners for over a year now, the question remains will ETH ever adopt ProgPoW? Monero is working on its own solution to the mining dilemma and are contemplating not only eliminating ASIC miners from their network but also GPU miners. Some other cryptocurrency projects that had planned to have scheduled hard forks which deter ASIC miners and allow more common people using GPUs to mine their cryptocurrency AHEM GRIN / GRINCOIN .. have decided to no longer pursue this route and embrace the grincoin ASIC miners being produced. Some other smaller projects such as ZelCash are exploring their own unique mining algorithm routes with a different version of the Equihash mining algorithm, their variation they are dubbing ZelHash is not infested with ASIC miners.

  2. Not sure how you feel towards ETC but I'd love to see a guide with some profit/cost stuff. Looks like they might have a comeback sometime in the future. Thanks for all the work.

  4. So Vosk….do you think momero will pull off the switch to randomx and keep it asic resistant?

  5. Hi I wanted to get into cropto mining and wanted to know what would be the best way to get started. I wanted to get something cheap so I can get more familiar with mining and was think of a raspberry pi set up or if I should go with a gpu rig. Let me know your thoughts and if it would be a good idea on buying a used gpu rig. Thanks

  6. 100% with you, even if RandomX fails, at least Monero has tried uniquely to fight ASICs, not like some other coins we all know. We'll see what happens, Monero was my favorite, but with RandomX, I'll have to move GPUs over to ETC.

  7. Would love to hear your take on Nerva (xnv) mining

  8. Hey Voskcoin, thanks for all the great content. Youre my #1 mining news feed..one question: Is it possible and/or practical to setup a mining rig that can simultaneously mine with the CPU and GPU? For example, can a speced out gaming desktop with say a Radeon VII and the latest Intel CPU mine Monex with the CPU and GPU mining say ETC simultaneously?

  9. hi

  11. Hey man, I love the channel. think you are doing great work! I have watched several hours of your content already in the last day or two. I Would love to see a video on mining AE (aeternity coin). Keep up the good work +

  16. The Allwiner H6 quad core 1.8Ghz A53 processor coming on the Orange pi pc2 is coming with the NEON crypto extentions that where on the Armlogic S905x 1.5Ghz quad core processor. The S905x ran AEON coin at 50h/s. Can only speculate what the H6 will do at just 10 watts tops. Also got a article from one of the big brians on github that the Monero algo actually work better on FPGAs than in software..

  17. Reading some of the comments, I'd also like to hear your opinion on beam and graft(I've been mining this on and off a couple times a week to build it up)

  18. Hey voskcoin a little help my brotha, I'm new to mining digitally I am a miner by trade. I have about $15k/$16k of Bitcoin and was thinking of putting that on 5 or 6 INNOSILICON Terminator3+ 57T. Will they have the same return as the bitmain s17 pro? I wanna make this purchase soon also after reading and being videos of issue with the customer service from INNOSILICON I found the site that you used for the s17 pro has them still available for pre order. Would u suggest going through a 2nd party. Any advice is great.

  19. 65eb9af4aa1b4132195d5302fae04815ef60fe98. I'd like to chat about the recent trend in crypto surging and if it's a good idea to farm monero if they CANNOT stay asic resistant… especially since purchasing/ selling is so costly at the moment. Thanks Vosk!
