ERROR CORRECTION – At 6:09 we brought up a data table that incorrectly identified the Roomba e5 as having the ability to digital map. That was an error. It cannot digitally map. In addition, we want to clarify the “Yes” answers on several other Roomba models from that screenshot.

The Roomba i3+, Roomba 980, and Roomba 960 all utilize digital mapping to navigate and clean your space. At the conclusion of the cleaning session a digital mapping report is created and available to users. However, users cannot interact with the map to create room labels, keep out zones, and other custom cleaning control.

  1. Thank you for the video. Just a heads up and you may already know it if someone commented on it but Roomba e5 has no mapping and in your video its listed as it does.

  2. Which robot do you recommend? I have a 86m2 flat, two cats, and basically just two small carpets. Self-cleaning is nice but not sure if needed. What can you recommend me?

  3. Thank you for answering all these questions. Not every vlogger does it.
I've found all the info I needed. Thanks again!

  4. What about repair & maintenance? Availability of parts? I know that the Roombas are very easy to take apart, clean thoroughly & repair yourself. I'd like to know if the others are as well?

  5. Thank you so much for doing this review! My bedrooms are all carpeted. I have a pet and long hair. I am looking for a review that will go over carpet vacuuming performance. Most Chinese reviews on Roomba vs Roborock focus on hard floor performance which is not really helpful for me. Your review is a saver!

  6. The Roborock series is the Roomba killer, especially with Roborock's newer models about to be unveiled.

  7. You mentioned the Roomba Combo. When will it be available on the market, and when will you test it?

  8. What if I own the dog and have mostly have hard floor and wooden floor with one rug. What will clean the fur the best? Roomba i3 or maybe Roborock S5 Max?
    Great comparizon video!

  9. Any thoughts on Roomba 675 vs Roborock S4 Max? Tile only, a few rugs. The house has multiple levels (not floors, for example, the kitchen is three steps above the living room) so it will have to be carried a lot anyway so I’m not sure if I should splurge on the navigation.

  10. Great video!, but the 675 does not use vSLAM. And the e5 does not have vSLAM either. But thanks for the video!

  11. I bought the i3+ and loved it, but it constantly got stuck under my coffee table. After the third time in a week, I'm exchanging it and giving the 6s a try. A little disappointed the i3+ has better suction, but liking the zone mapping. Hoping it fits inside my google nest atmosphere well.

  12. Please help me with your advice.
I am indecided between the roomba i7 or roborocks: I don’t care about the washing of the floor (of which I have heard conflicting views about it) but what I am looking for is the most thorough cleaning possible in a vacuum cleaner robot, so… which do I have to buy?
    Thank you

  13. Robot vacuums are very convenient! I also use another vacuum cleaner. The video is very interesting! Please come visit me on my channel. With love from Japan 🙂

  14. Some small corrections:
All of Roborock's E series are capable of smart navigation. Not just the E4
Every single Roborock vacuum is capable of auto-rechage charging
Not a single Roomba has a maximum rated battery life of over 120 minutes even on low power

Little bit of a nitpick but Roomba isn't its own company. Roomba is just the name of the product. iRobot is the company

  15. My Recommendation are
First thing I want is it has to be high PA
Second thing is it has to have mopping and sweeping.

  16. I have been thinking about the Roborock AI model for a while, but.. is anyone else concerned about the data being sent to china and how china could control this information? I'm not conspiracy theorist or anything, but this is a genuine concern/fear of mine. The US Roborock website doesn't ease any concerns when their website looks like it's just been translated from Chinese and a lot of their website reviews are mandarin.

  17. I've owned a large line up with my latest being the i7+. It is the best option for most people. Until now you had to maintain the vacum every time you used it making it less of a convenience. The self emptying docking station is mind blowing. I don't touch the i7 for a full month. It's on schedule to clean the entire first floor of my large house daily and require zero maintenance. Best thing we ever did. Run time doesn't matter because it docks itself, charges exactly the amount of time it needs to finish its job and does that. The mopping on the roborock is a gimmick. It'll be awhile before they make robots mop well. You spend more time filling tank and cleaning the cloth on the robots that don't even do a decent job than it'll take you to grab a swiffer and mop yourself.

  18. Which one should I get I need a vacuum and a mop because mostly have hard surfaces and 2 rugs my daughter likes to make spills and when she eats it spill a.l over so I need a mop and a vacuum which one should I go with I need the most reliable affordable and great robot for my needs this will be a miracle I don’t have to bend over and mop it my self instead a robot will mop it for me and if there is cookie dust or any type of dust or debris that will also be picked pls help me choose this will be a miracle

  19. We have mainly hard surfaces, tiles and wooden flors. The vacuum cleaners ability to actually clean, so it looks nice is important for us, plus my wife is allergic to dust, so that’s important too, that the machine can remove as much dust as possible. Our price range is about $1100-1200. What should we go for? I’ve seen so many clips and reviews, and I don’t seem to get any wiser😬 Should we go for a Roborock S5 Max or perhaps a S6 Max, or maybe Roomba i7+?

    Please help🙏🏼
