Was not sure what this movie would deliver… but MAN did it deliver. Auli'i was absolutely incredible. I watched this with my son and my brother and we all cried. It was moving, emotional and cheesy in all the right ways.

"Hope is a thing with feathers" that for me was the theme and highlight of this movie. I do not ever normally watch a movies, especially one from Netflix and come here to leave a comment but I just could not help it! Give this movie your time, trust me it is worth it. It reminded me that there is so much talent, love and gift within us that we can offer to this world to make it a better place. It highlighted that no man is an island, it displayed that there is a light at the end of every tunnel. I was reminded to keep hope alive, and I hope you do too. Don't give up on your dream, fight that illness, work on that assignment, fix that marriage, help that neighbor. Spread complete love and light and simply be who you are. May Blessings and Hope be upon you as you read this. Sending you complete love and light!

Man…hands down on the movie. Like this isn't your typical teen movie. It actually made me cry near the end. And I NEVER cry in movies. This hit so hard. So encouraging that there are blessings and good things behind your pain.
