  20. OMG the faux displays of over acting over things that are not funny! I caught on to it when I was a kid, and it's even worse now!

  21. So nice to hear real laughter on a show. So many of the American shows use canned laughter and it stands out a mile away. If something is genuinely funny people will laugh.

  25. I remember that for years…everyone wondered what Mama (Vicky Lawrence) had said after Tim Conway had finished his story. We're talking one than one decade before the greater public knew what she said. They kept it that much of a secret. I was kind of disappointed when it was so benign.

  38. I watched the show as re-runs in TBS growing up in the 80’s. It’s still, in my opinion, the best sketch comedy show in history. I love watching it on Amazon Prime, and whatever else app I can watch it on. They don’t make comedians like they used to. Back then you had to be able to sing, dance, and act. The last cast of that level was the amazing “Golden Girls”. Nowadays actors just act. Back then you had to be a triple threat.
