I have tried alot of robot vacuums and robot mops in the past and in my experience these are the pari of best robot vacuums and best robot wet mops I have used so far. The S9+ has bad reviews but not sure why. Do you have bad experience with it? The j+ has way better reviews

slightly dishonnest to not show how clumsy it is with its docking manoeuvers when its RIGHT IN FRONT of its deck.
I tried exactly what you showed (and cut) with a fully mapped house.
And both robots took at least 4minutes of turning around before figuring out the deck was just in front of it…

Is there any need to still have a handheld vacuum (eg a dyson or shark vacuum) if you have both of these ?
These are by far the two worst bots in the market to be buying at this point in time (especially considering the cost). VSLAM based robots like the Roomba's are easily confused, cannot handle multi-level very well and are way less efficient than LIDAR based ones. I am at the point of throwing my S9/M6 in the bin and replacing with a Roborock S7 or equivalent due to how unreliable they are (replaced both twice and yet they suck).
This is a nice combo. They’ve been cleaning the crap out of my floors.
