17. I just found out this evening that a very good friend of mine from back home died earlier this week. I will always remember riding around in his 1969 Mach 1 428 when he got back from Viet Nam blasting this as we went. We used to scream Oooh Oooh Oooh! He was a US Marine Viet Nam Combat Veteran with a Silver Star. R.I.P. Richard "Ham" Hamilton. I'll see you on the other side.

23. I grew up listening to Elvis with my grandma, she always had his music in her car. When she was younger Elvis was doing a concert nearby and she said he drove by her house one day in a pink cadillac with some guys and they whistled at her. I recently watched the new Elvis movie (with Tom Hanks), which was fantastic, and it has made me appreciate Elvis and his music more.
    Rest in peace.
