2. I do digital art and want it for gaming. I’ve been wanting the iPad Pro since it came out but I don’t know which size to choose. I’m afraid the 12.9 will be too big when I game. I really don’t mind if it’s big for binge watching. I actually think it’s ok, just that I fear I won’t be able to grip the iPad well or that it’ll hurt my hands. The 11 sound all around a good option, it’s just the drawing option that I don’t know if it’ll be enough.

   I have a MacBook Air m1 so for me iPad 11 inch is the perfect on the go and as a 2nd monitor:)

4. As an artist using the 12.9 is very comfortable. What’s so annoying is that I like to work outside like in cafes and stuff. I personally don’t like to carry big bags around so it’s hard to find a comfortable size bag that fits the 12.9. It’s always just an 1" too big for most bags I like. For that reason I kinda wish I got the 11 inch. I already have a big iMac to work on things at home so having the 12.9 iPad feels kinda redundant.

6. Was thinking about this…When the iPad first launched, the iPhone was still at 3.5in. That’s about 2.75x diff. Now, with the “regular” iPhone at 6.1in, you’d need close to a 17in iPad to experience that same difference in screen size. Part of what made the iPad so great in the early years was just how huge the screen felt compared to the typical phone at that time. As these devices have gotten closer in size, I’ve found the iPad a little less exciting, but the 12.9in brings back that “intangible” joy of having a huge canvas at your fingertips.

7. As a college student (pshychology) with an M1 MBA, I’ve never regret choosing the 11 inch.
   First of all its cheaper so I could buy a logitech case for the iPad which protects the iPad better than a magic keyboard, and second, I didnt need a bad laptop replacement.
   The 11 inch is perfect for handwriting notes, perfect for media consumption, and way better in small areas than the 12.9.
   The split screen is more than enough, considering the fact that you need to zoom on both device if you want to do anything.
   I just open my mba at home, get into the class with zoom or teams and my iPad is next to it with Notability on the screen.
   The only area where the 12.9 shines is professional drawing. Thats all. 🙂

8. I have not owned a laptop or desktop since the iPad air2. I have had the first iPad Pro and the 2018 11” pro. I now have the 11” M1 Pro. I still think i should have gone for the 12.9 “. We shall se once stage manager is fully ready if i feel the 11” will still be fine. I think mostly it will be especially with a monitor. I manage to to everything on the iPad Pro i guess i have grown with it and have iPad ways of doing everything a desktop can.

9. I prefer the width to height ratio on my 12.9” iPad Proover the width to height ratio of my previous 11” Pro (which I gave to my partner to use on his medical rounds). The 11” is more portable for him. Both are equally fast, but the virtual keyboard on the 12.9” easier for me to type on. I use a leather cover, which adds weight, but makes a nice stand and I have an Apple Bluetooth keyboard if I need to do any serious typing on it; better than the keyboards in the Apple covers.

10. 11” and 512 gb is the perfect bang for your buck if you are a creative. Anything beyond that, the return value is non-existent. Why on earth would you need 16 gb ram and 1 tb storage on a ridiculously expensive piece of glass is beyond me. I would never pay over $1500 maximum on an ipad. If I was to spend over that, I would rig out a gaming system and have so much more diversity in terms of what I get back in return value. There’s absolutely nothing in the iOS store that would warrant a purchase of a 16 gb ram and 1 tb storage upgrade and pay $2000+. That is insane! Who in their right mind pays over $2000+ for an iPad? Find one application if you are up to the challenge that uses anything beyond 4-6 gb of ram….there’s nothing! But hey, if you want to donate your hard earned money to Apple…that’s your choice.

14. My 50” TV/Apple TV 4K gives a far better media experience than any iPad. My 8 core i7 Wintel box gives an excellent desktop experience. My 11” iPad Pro is great for casual usage like internet browsing and watching YouTube videos.

I have a 10.9” iPad and ngl I’m in love with my iPad it’s definitely gonna be a keep and I’ve noticed that I’ve been using my phone more then iPad I don’t think other companies will beat the iPad but one thing I would suggest is that apple works on making it less easy for iPad to bend I heard that iPad pros bend through wear and tear and these iPads are easy to bend now I’m not saying they all do cause the older generation ones take some force to actually bend it and even with great force they still don’t bend as easily I’m not trying to scare y’all from using these iPads but I will say that if y’all decide to get an iPad Pro 12.9” it comes through big responsibility especially in taking care of it basically all I’m saying is he’s right these iPads are awesome and I’ve always wanted an iPad similar to these in the future if I do get another ipad the one that’s currently used will still be kept even if it means having it on display on a desk of some sort

I used both and decided 11” is better for me and retired 12.9”. 12.9” is way too heavy to use as a tablet, I dropped it on my head in bed many times, it belongs to a desktop, but then I have a MacBook laptop for desktop and I can use Apple Pencil to draw on MacBook by using iPad as a touchpad. My M2 13” MacBook Pro is actually half pond lighter than 12.9” iPad, not even counting keyboard.

23. I own samsung phone, ipad tablet and airpods, im a fan of their tablets and airpods. I just do not like their phones & computer

24. I have the 2018 Pro with magic keyboard. It's nice an all. I bought it before I bought my MBP 16 2019 but I'm contemplating on selling it and getting the new 11" with keyboard. Just want something smaller to have in bed to consume content and bigger than the 13 Pro Max and also easier to hold and type on the screen itself than the keyboard. Just haven't made up my mind. I almost even contemplated on getting the Mini but ehh…

    I play a lot of video games my iPad 2018 kept shutting the games down mid play
    So I opt too buy iPad Pro 12inch 2022 model. I also have more space on my iPad Pro 12 64 on the 2018 model.

31. I moved to Samsungland pretty much completely. Even tried both of the non ultra S8 tabs. Had to go back to ipad. It's actually a totally different reason than you might suspect. Apple offers all their tablets with Cellular connectivity. Samsung offers none of their premium ones with it. Here in Canada at least. And I just can't function without always having data. I don't always want to hotspot. 12.9gang 😎

36. I m in some kind of import/export business, so 11’’ screen win, bcoz easy to handle at any situation, best for side hustle, highly recommend for online product research and quick response to them. Magic key board is a plus. Yes i do hv a mac book pro too. So again 11” best for side hustle

41. Bro my 12.9” M1 came with a flat battery brand new out the box, still had wrapper on it, not even 1% battery life, what a let down. 12.9” is bigger than i thought compared to 11” M1
