1. Truly the most exquisite lullaby I have ever heard. There are other versions using possibly more authentic pronunciation of Middle English, but none move my soul like Barbara Higbie’s interpretation.

14. @luxaurum what string gauges are you using?
    I can drop down almost an entire octave with a Baby Taylor. The short scale length, 22 inches if remember correctly, really should have a higher gauge string; it feels normal that way. Light strings feel way too light and lack good tone.

16. I play it in A; I figured it out from memory rather than the recording. I don't sing so I play the melody within the chords; A, G and D.
    If you capo the third fret and play the A chord form, it is actually a C, it will match the recording.
    Any corrections are welcome.

19. This gorgeous piece was written to celebrate Mary and the nativity story, as were so many lullabies.
    The two parts in the same vocal range intertwine throughout the piece, and the moments when the
    parts come together in unisons and octaves are especially lovely. The lyrics are in Middle English,
    which looks similar to modern English on the page, but some pronunciations sound quite different.
