Mandy was adopted from Rescue House as a kitten. Her guardian found herself in a situation where she could no longer keep Mandy, so she’s back… and this time, Mandy wants to make sure she finds a true forever home.
A pinch of spice, a generous dash of whimsy, a heaping measure of sweetness… these are some of the ingredients that make up the delightful diva known as Mandy. She likes to “talk” and tell you allll about her day. The life of Mandy sounds like an exciting one! She is, however, very good at embellishment, and will sometimes get carried away in her storytelling, especially if you’re distracting her with the gentle head-rubs, pets and brushings she likes so much (and if you give her a scritch at the base of the tail, she’ll completely lose her train of thought). Mandy does love to be doted on, and who could resist that adorable apple face?
Mandy has little interest in other cats; we feel she can likely live peaceably with another cat given a slow and proper introduction and space to call her own. She doesn’t pay much attention to dogs, though she doesn’t want them in her face. Mandy prefers gentle and calm interactions, so younger children would not be a good fit; older ones who respect her preferences would be just fine.
Mandy lost her home through no fault of her own, and dearly wants to find a forever home where she can relax and her star can shine… will you be her devoted audience?
