  1. Amazingly good video, thanks. I do have a question though. I'm having trouble finding helium compatible IoT devices that I could purchase. I own a few rental properties and I liked your idea of giving my tenants something useful for which I would need to install the Hotspot. But I can not find anything useful that is readily available to be purchased by an individual.

  2. Amazing video!
Could you do a video on clients?!

Id love to see how door sensors or temperature sensors etc actually work on the network!

This would also be a great way to encourage neighbors to get involved!

  3. I live in the country. Is that ok? And I have a hotspot will I be able to use it wirelessly

  4. Great video!

I am also learning alot from your videos.

I have a question about your point concerning what if people buy 50-100 miners. You said each spot is created equal. Thats true. But the total hotspots are only allocated a certain amount of total hnt. So even though each spot is created equal, people with more spots will be getting a bigger chunk of the pie. That seems to cut into the narrative that hnt is a “people’s network” given eventually fat cats will be the ones with all the miners…only people with a lot of miners will eventually be the only ones able to make $$z

  5. What if I had two miners… could I use directional intenas to point them to different witnesses??

  6. That is a great video. Thanks for your content.
I am a perpetual traveler, usually staying one month + at one place. Is it possible to take a miner with me, change the location and mine while i am traveling? 🙂

  7. I want to put the antenna outdoor but use bobcat indoor miner. How long can the antenna cable be at max? Does it lose signal strenght at a specific length?

what whould your suggestion be for best outdoor miner?

    thank you.

  8. Hi Jimmy, thanks for the video, fantastic info. Would you now if standard lora miners could possibly be upgraded to 5G units at some stage in the future? Would it be possible or would everyone have to buy another 5G specific modem like the freedomfi one?

  9. This man sounds like he either did meth….or is a mind reader…and redundant af….no references citing claims in a vague non informative overspoken video vomit ever

  10. How to sell bullshit. The whole Helium concept is based on greed and buying a 400$ rak device running on a 50$ rapsberry pie, preferably 2 or 3 or 5, with an expensive antenna of 200 bucks woth 10 dollars. Of course there is profit to earn, but not in the way people think. Bitcoin and Eutherium are not paid with proof of work, what is paid for is unique hashes who are extremely complex to calculate. The concept of proof of witness is therefore complete utter bullshit. This reminds me of this episode of IT crowd. @. This is what you are buying.

  11. I live at an elevation of 1,020 ft on a mountain. What would be a good antenna for me I think 8dbi but what model I'm very close to the top of my mountain.

  12. Someone put his miner in "my " grid. now i get only 0.5 instead of 1. Now this person is few days offline, but the grid shows still 2 miners. Will I keep the penalty even the oter miner is offline? This whole situation pisses me off.

  13. Good day. New subscriber here. Newbie here also to Helium mining. I'm planning to buy the rak hotspot device. Does this thing work even I'm the only one in our community that have this device? Let's say 3 device for example. Thanks for the response brother….

  14. By the time I got my miner so had many others in my area. There is no way to know ahead of time how you will be affected until yours arrives, which can be four months from the order date. I would check the Helium map carefully and see what everyone is earning around you. If people in your area already have a transmit scale of less than 1, you will drag it down when you go online and your earnings will be scaled down by this number. I am a bit disappointed as I am making far less than expected. Though far, far more expensive, the MatchX Pro does not suffer from this problem. Hard to say which is really the best bet at this point. I am leaning more towards my MatchX Pro as it will soon mine four coins. That said, you do have to leave (stake, bond, etc.) your MXC and DHX, which is kind of annoying. Look carefully into miner health and fuel tank before investing so you are not disappointed.

  15. Good information there. Thanks! Does it matter whats the internet speed when setting these miners. Thanks!

  16. You guys are building a secret spy network for China. Why do you think they are "relayed" if you don't turn off the firewall, and they cut your rewards.

  17. Hi Jimmy I replaced to 8db antenna but my app icon still shows 4db what I can do to fix? Thank you 🙏

  18. but what happens if you do helium in your own house then your neighbour next to you also starts doing it without checks. So does it means your earnings will half just because your neighbour put a hotspot on? thats the only tricky bit. its all good to me i can check and fit the helium hot spot the location which is great but then you cant really stop anyone else to go near that location and got no idea he will get half earnings and then probably you will get half earnings too. other then that its great.

  19. New to mining. Questions: (1) are miners difficult to configure; and (2) do miners have dashboards?

  20. Hi Jimmy
I am a huge fan of your content.
    thanks for all your videos

I just want to know like helium code is open source, same way the design file of mining device and other stuff related to miner is also open source?

  21. I feel like it's no longer worth the trouble in larger cities. There are just too many hot spots close to each other. But if you have a good location, well worth it.

  22. How does Helium Systems Inc. generate money from this network (where do they get the money to pay the miners), is it a sustainable business model and how likely are they to grow?
