   i ve a Desktop (abandon) i7-4790k GTX970 i tried mining (Zcash), results as below: zec 0.00629/day , average about 280-300 Sol/s based on today's rate: 1.192USD/day Is this the best it can mine? (am i falling behind or is there away to mine better) I'll be staying in student accommodation soon. im exploring in the option to mine ZCASH to earn some extra dollar (since power supply is fixed under the rent) what would you pro miners out there suggest? do share your experience.

9. Can anyone help me out? I'm running an Asus GTX980ti Strix and an Asus GTX970 Strix both mining Zcash.

   980ti – GPU Boost Clock +100, dropped my power to 90%. I'm getting 459 – 476sols. Drawing and Avg of about 250w

   970 – GPU Boost Clock +100 and power also to 90%. Getting 259 – 265 sols. Drawing an Avg of about 135w.

   Any tips on boost clocks and mem clocks values? And also power draw what should I set it to?

12. you're lucky af, my gtx 970 g1 gaming only gets 1550mhz core and 4050mhz memory ASIC is around 70%, maximum of 300 sol/s, 215W. I've found more worth to mine at 1240mhz and 4050mhz with 50% TDP, 115W = 240 sol/s

13. Zcash mining with GTX 1080 or GTX 1070 is at the moment BEST GPU-MINING !!!:
    So what I actually found out (more research internet) is that a GTX can make about 700 sols @ 180 Watt (max. 250W), a RX 470 does about ~ 250 sols @ 120 Watt (max. 150W). Are these good numbers ? FOR ZCASH (ZEC) MINING: When this is true the GTX 1080 is significantly more efficient than the RX 470 (Rx 570). In sols/price it's the same… So One mining rig with 5x GTX 1080 (ON ZEC) does more ore same profit (After, and for the ROI) like rigs with 14x Rx 470 (ON ETH)… About 780 $ vs 580 $ ? So GPU-Mining ZCash with GTX 1070 or GTX 1080 series is at the moment most profitable… And you need the lees space… But you will need a 1500W or 2000W PSU for a 5x or 6x GTX 1080 Rig ? Does a rig with 5x or 6x GTX 1080 even work ?
