GINGER, 52, and Amber, 25, from Pittsburgh, USA, are a mother and daughter duo who have faced controversy online, with trolls hating the fact they work together in the adult industry. Ginger, who started her career as a teacher and a software executive, retired from the corporate life to become an adult model and was initially met with some early online hate. Ginger told Truly: “If they could give me a scarlet letter they would. The Karens hate me… But their husbands are in my DMs.” Amber joined the industry after her dream of becoming a singer was taken away when she lost her job during the global pandemic. However, Amber saw her mum’s success and happiness with OnlyFans so decided to follow in Ginger’s footsteps. Ginger and Amber have now become successful business partners; making up to $400,000 in just one month. However, this success came with an enormous backlash from online trolls. Ginger said: “Oftentimes we get comments from people saying, ‘I can’t believe it, you’re pimping out your daughter’… And it’s anything but that!” The duo help and support each other but keep their online platforms separate to the point where they don’t look at each other’s work. Amber said: “We don’t film explicit content together, we don’t take explicit photos together, it’s important for us to maintain the boundary of being colleagues, but we’re also mother and daughter.” As long as Amber and Ginger remain happy and successful the pair will continue their online work despite what the haters think. They added: “It’s just a mother who supports her daughter in what she does and a daughter who supports her mother in what she does.”
