  8. Seems like so many dads who've ascended to the next dimension were Boomers (in the real sense, born in the 50s. Makes sense, this was their music.
    So many of us must be Gen X. I have a complicated relationship with the whole Boomer legacy, but I can admit, this music is transcendent, it feels like it changed the whole culture. Having been raised by actual hippies from California's Bay Area, in the 70s, this music is kind of engraved in me.
    My parents are alive, but much damaged by dementia, so it's starting to feel like I'm losing them already, you know?
    The more I see the current culture, especially amongst children, the more I am grateful for my lowlow tech upbringing. I mostly read every book in the house (there were hundreds), but also listened to many albums over and over. (Cabaret, Roberta Flack, Moody Blues, Randy Newman, Beatles, Free to be You and Me)
    And often painted or drew during classics like Beethoven for "art therapy."
    It was idyllic in ways I never appreciated until now. Despite all the traumatic experiences, I look back with love and gratitude. ❣️🕉️❣️🕉️❣️

  15. My one and only girl friend dumped me in early 2000. And I still keep on listening to this all time classic. Take care beautiful people.
