You have close to 2 min left, all 3 timeouts, and your running game has been gashing KC. One of the worst run defenses against one of the best run offenses. You’re only 49 yards away from winning the game. They could’ve kept running it down KC’s throat even while going no huddle and marched right down the field that way. And what do the niners do instead here? 4 straight passes, all incomplete. Ball game essentially over at that point.
