that is not the only time they missname an animal. Once they call an iguana, a Camaleon
Doctor: "We need to speak to you about your baby right away."
Dad: "Ok cool, we'll leave the baby here and leave right now."
Doctor: "…"
The episode “Night of the Living Dummy II” was a downgrade from the book. It cut out great character moments and an epic moment where the family comes together in order to come up with a plan to defeat Slappy. The ending is also more ambiguous about whether Dennis was alive or not.
It sucks that the show was limited by how many minutes they were allowed to put in each episode leading to the story having to be crammed down and it showed, they had the set up of Dennis losing his head and then seconds later right after that they introduce the payoff, it was very jarring. Also Amy’s character was changed, in the episode she’s portrayed as wanting to go during the show and tell family meeting in the book it’s the opposite.
For the most part the show was good and for the most pretty faithful with what they were able to fit into a single episode since they were allowed to only be 20 minutes.
I think a remake with modern special effects and the new streaming platform of being able to make an episode pretty much any length would really help bring the books to life more accurately.
I don't remember much of the plot, but I remember being terrified by the short story when I read it.
anyone know the name of the kid in this episode? he looks so familiar.
I do think the dad needs a head doctor. Look at that hair! Treat Williams, eat your heart out!
Did you know Creeped Out ripped off this episode the only difference is that the genders are reversed.
It's like The Boss Baby, only the baby is a demon.
The amount of song references in this made me smile.
Seriously though, that artwork was really messed up. Those kids looked like they had been shot, the first two in the torso, the stick-figure one was shot in the head. That gets you suspended from school with a red flag in your permanent record, not hung with pride in the kid's room!
Show recommendation: The Baby on HBO. Basically the nightmare of anyone who really doesn’t want kids, a devil baby INSISTS you are it’s mom and doesn’t grow up. Mishaps ensue!
Is Sam secretly Jimmy Neutron in disguise? "Gotta blast" was his tag line.
boss baby dark timeline
Whuuuuut…..dafuq was that??
My God that lip sync is truly horrific
I nearly spat my water everywhere at "uh oh mum cheated"
Loved the NIN reference! 🤘
“Gotta blast”
This episode feels like they watched one episode of Jimmy Neutron and just ran with it.
Creeped out did this concept better.
I saw this episode like 7 or 8 years ago and it scared tf out of me as a kid💀
The og boss baby 💀
Rugrats did it better….I still have a fear of Angelicas baby brother lol
00:16 lol the way you say noggin. I know you’ve mentioned your from Chicago,
I’m also near the Chicago area so I picked up on the accent right away. It’s delightful
Disney+ is actually rebioting goosebumps
At least his gerbil wasn't dead.
So..the og Boss Baby plot?
