1. The scene was important for the movie. If everything was just platonic, the movie would not have been as gripping.

3. The love scenes were immensely important to the viewer, they were needed to tie in the reality of the two characters. They were intense, so well directed but ultimately acted out ..it finally tied in a knot their lonely desires, the depth of their feelings for one another. Actors always joke about such scenes, it seems, but in this movie, those scenes bonded the characters, thus enthralled and made the script believable to the viewer. I know it's the actors job… but wow, well done in the movie, Carol. These two actors made it seem real. Breathtaking in the realism.

HAVING SIMILAR DEEP VOICES, STRONG PERSONALITIES, INTELIGENT, BEAUTIFULL, EXCELENT MOTHERS AND VERY VERY TALENTED… I ADORE BOTH OF THEM.

12. I only watched Rooney in Carol, and I didn’t imagine that she would talk like that. Her voice is a lot deeper than I thought it would be. I imagined it as one of those voices where the tone is English/British without the accent.
