2. If a pillow smells like gasoline or chemicals, more than likely it’s carcinogenic. Humans sleep 1/3 of our lives, we should not be sleeping on anything that is toxic.

6. The smell fades away, mine doesn't smell anymore. It is very soft, and yes it's heavy, which I don't mind.

11. For rinsing the pillow I'd bet you could fill up your bathtub with warm water and soap then rinse it and let it soak in the soap a bit.

14. I have been using this pillow for a little over 3 years now and nothing else can compare. Love it! My girlfriend just got one of their newer pillows that is softer and a bit taller which seems good as well. Similar experience at first with the smell, I think I just aired it out for a day and it was fine to use. I also put an additional pillow case on it which may help reduce the smell at first. Never been happier with the durability and comfort.

16. $100 bucks and a quick clean isn't that big of a deal if you get countless great nights of sleep. Haven't finished the video yet tho so the pillow could suck

17. I have two for different beds. I kept thinkig I needed it to be higher or thicker, but as I used them, I didn't realize all my life that it is what I needed. These are perfect. I really don't see myself using anything else now, after 2 years now

21. The off gassing seems like a massive pain. Pillows from Tempurpedic and other memory foam places don't require you to air them out like this.

27. Ive had one of these for 2 years now. Worst part is when you fall asleep with this on your arm and it cuts off circulation cause its so heavy

30. We've used our pillows so much they're worn out. I like purple pillow better than any other one. We didn't have any problem with smell.

31. I didn't realize that $100 is such a steep ask for something that you use for 6-8 hours every single day. I have no opinion on this "purple pillow" but damn y'all, high quality bedding is seriously one of the best investments you can make to improve the quality of your life.

32. Purple is a super sketchy company. The owner worked for, then stole the design from a company called intellibed, found some legal loophole in the patent. Don't buy from them!

34. i took my purple pillow apart and alot of white powder came out. its very alarming to me that i stopped using it.

35. A BIG con for me would be the smell… I couldn't stand something that smells so strong. Ridiculous you have to deal with that, cleaning, airing out, etc. So, it's a no from me.
